'Grace + Marie' was founded in 2017 by self-confessed candle addict Cartier.

Being a combination of my middle name (Marie) and the middle name of my sister and one of my daughters (Grace), and both names being a tribute to our grandparents and great-grandparents, the 'Grace + Marie’ name itself reflects the love and devotion that goes into making each product. the entire process, From start to finish, is hand-done by me in small batches to ensure the highest quality.

Here at Grace + Marie, we are passionate about recycling and reusing materials where we can.
when your Grace + Marie candle is finished, we encourage you to clean the jar and purchase one of our candle refills or use it as a storage vessel. By reusing these jars, I aim to work with my customers to contribute to global efforts of reducing our impact on the environment.
We strive to use only natural ingredients that are non-harmful to both the environment and animals when creating our luxury home fragrance products:
Candles
✨ We opt for a natural plant-based soy wax that:
- is formaldehyde + GMO-free,
- contains no paraffin or unnatural additives,
- is vegan and kosher,
- is 100% natural, renewable, non-toxic and biodegradable,
- is a softer wax that has a lower melting point so it burns longer without releasing toxic carcinogens like paraffin wax does.

Ingredients
✨ Our premium quality fragrance oils, which are:
- manufactured in Australia,
- adhere to RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity
- are packaged in phthalate-free, recyclable, PET plastic bottles.
in addition, none of our fragrances are tested on animals, are completely vegan/cruelty-free, non-toxic, and contain no palm oil.

✨ Our products are shipped using eco-friendly tissue paper (which is 100% circular and can be composted or recycled after use), recycled bubble wrap and packaging materials. Your order may even be packaged using biodegradable packing peanuts (these dissolve in water or can be thrown into compost piles after a single use).

Give Back Initiative

After a few years in business, I wanted to do more for my community which is why I decided to commit to donating a portion of monthly orders towards a charity/cause that resonates with me at the time.
Since November 2019, your orders have helped us support:
November 2019: $65 was donated to The Salvation Army Australia Emergency & Disaster Appeal to assist those affected by the fires and the firefighters who did their best to fight them.
January 2020: $70 towards Zoos Victoria Bushfire Emergency Wildlife Fund.
January 2020: $70 towards Kangaroo Island Mayoral Relief & Recovery Bushfire Fund.
October 2020: A very dear friend of mine lost their best friend to ovarian cancer, just before Bec passed away she organised a fundraiser for Frocktober; thanks to your purchases we were able to donate $120 to the cause to help find a cure for ovarian cancer.
November 2020: Earlier this year we lost my grandma to MND; my aunty participated in the Walk to D'Feet MND fundraiser and we donated $115.
March 2021: This month marked the one-year anniversary of my grandpa's passing; $129 was donated to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia Ltd in memory of him. MARCH 2022: In memory of my grandpa, thanks to your orders this month, we donated $173 to the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia Ltd. March 2023: In honour of my grandfather's passing and with thanks to your orders for this month we donated $71.20.
September 2022: $75 was donated to Shut Up! for MND in honour of my late grandma.
November 2022: $39 donated.
Since November 2022, thanks to our collaboration candles with Alkina's Creation, $85 has been donated to Djirra.
September 2023: $102.40 was donated to Fight MND in honour of my late grandma who would have been 82 this month.
$122 10% of orders placed between 18 Feb - 12 May, plus the entry fee, were donated to the 2024 Mother’s Day Classic to support Breast and Ovarian Cancer Research.
